The sensor meanly is used for young-plants cultivations where a mist-installation is used. Also the sensor is useful for rain yes or no.

The surface of the sensor is gold-framed and protected for lime sediment. However after a certain period, depending on the quality of the available water, the surface have to be cleaned with a normal detergent. Absolutely not with sandpaper or sand because this can damage the surface of the sensor. The sensor is slightly influenced by temperature.
