To Measure Is to Know: Calibration for Optimal Performance

Senseca’s in-house calibration center is accredited under ISO 17025, a certification that guarantees measurement accuracy. The laboratories are regularly inspected by ACCREDIA, the national accreditation body, which ensures compliance with high-quality standards.

Thanks to our many years of experience and advanced equipment, the parameters listed below can be accurately calibrated to guarantee the accuracy of your sensor.

Temperature

The laboratory is equipped with high-quality equipment, including baths, ovens, multimeters, resistors, and reference and working probes (precious-metal thermocouples and platinum resistance thermometers).

This enables us to cover a calibration range for temperatures from -196 °C to 1064 °C.

Humidity

Using our calibration and measurement equipment, we can measure relative humidity, dew point, and air temperature.

The laboratory is accredited for dew point in the range of -20 °C to 60 °C, relative humidity in the range of 10% to 92% RH, and air temperature in the range of -20 °C to 120 °C.

Pressure

The reference equipment includes various standard instruments, such as pressure balances, pressure calibrators, and pressure transducers for liquid or gaseous media.

The measurement range extends from -1 bar to 1000 bar, covering the calibration needs of a wide variety of applications.

Air Velocity

With two closed-loop Göttingen-type wind tunnels, we can calibrate wind sensors with a range of air velocities up to 60 m/s.

Photometry and Radiometry (light)

The laboratory can calibrate various light and radiation meters. This includes, among others, lux meters, UVA/UVB/UVC light meters, and pyranometers.

In addition, measurements and calibrations can be performed for spectral irradiance (200–800 nm), spectral sensitivity (200–1100 nm), luminous intensity, color temperature, and angular/cosine response.

Acoustics (sound)

The LAT 124 electroacoustic laboratory has been accredited since 2001 to calibrate sound level meters, acoustic calibrators, pistonphones, octave- and third-octave band filters, and LS/WS measurement microphones.

Calibration is available for equipment from all major international manufacturers.
