How do I replace the inner core of the water meter?

The water meter consists of two parts: the housing and the inner core. The inner core of the water meter can be replaced. This eliminates the need to purchase a whole new water meter every time. In this video, Danny explains when en how to replace the inner core.

The condition of the soil plays a role, but it can be said that the core should be replaced when it no longer turns blue after watering (about after 6-24 months).
