Product description

High-quality solar radiation data depends on a sensor that stays stable outdoors. The LPS10... series measures global irradiance on a flat surface for environmental studies, research, meteorology and PV monitoring, with Spectrally Flat Class A classification according to ISO 9060:2018.

Measurement confidence is built into the design. Thermopile technology, a 283…2800 nm spectral range and a 2π sr viewing angle support accurate global irradiance measurement. Every pyranometer is factory calibrated according to ISO 9847:2023 and supplied with an individual calibration report.

Installation and integration stay flexible. Integrated bubble level and adjustable feet support horizontal positioning, with optional tilt monitoring on LPS10Mxx models. Output choices include isolated RS485 Modbus-RTU, configurable analog signals, 2-wire 4…20 mA or passive mV, in an IP 67 anodized aluminum housing with ASA protection screen and optical glass dome.

Class A confidence
Spectrally Flat Class A according to ISO 9060:2018 for demanding solar data.

Smart diagnostics
Digital models monitor internal temperature, humidity and pressure for operating condition checks.

Outdoor-ready build
IP 67 anodized aluminum housing with ASA screen and optical glass dome.

Calibrated from day one
Supplied factory calibrated to ISO 9847:2023 with individual calibration report.

Flexible outputs
Choose RS485 Modbus-RTU, configurable analog, 2-wire 4…20 mA or passive mV.

Easy positioning
Bubble level accuracy < 0,2° and adjustable feet support correct horizontal setup.

Features

  • Thermopile measuring principle
The pyranometer uses a thermopile sensor with a black matt coated sensitive surface to measure global irradiance on a flat surface.
  • Digital model diagnostics
LPS10Mxx versions include internal sensors for temperature, relative humidity and pressure. LPS10MxT versions also include a tilt sensor.
  • Configurable analog output
    LPS10MAx models provide an analog output configurable as 4…20 mA, 0…20 mA, 0…1 V, 0…5 V or 0…10 V via DATAsense software.
  • Modbus communication
Digital versions use isolated RS485 Modbus-RTU. Address, baud rate, parity and stop bits can be configured through software or registers.
  • DATAsense software
The PC application supports configuration, real-time measurement monitoring and saving values detected during the connection in a file.
  • Installation interface
The housing includes M5 fixing holes, adjustable feet and a 5-pole or 8-pole M12 connection depending on the model.
